We would like to assure you that we take that trust seriously and we want you to know how we use your information and why.
Who is holding your information?
The information you have given to us is kept by the proprietor of Centre Stage Dogs, with relevant information (such as names and medical issues). We do not permit copying or sharing by our staff and actively monitor for any potential breaches.
Where do we get data from?
We only hold data provided to us by you. If you buy from our online shop, you will provide us with your contact details and purchase details. We may also collect data that is given over the phone or emailed to us by you. We only keep data that is necessary to run the grooming parlour in an efficient manner.
Where is your data stored?
When a purchase is made from our online shop, the transaction is encrypted. We do not see or store any card or private paypal account details. Your contact details are saved on our password-protected server database. Our server is monitored and kept up-to-date with security patches.
When given over the phone or by email, your/your dog(s) data is manually inputted onto the Savvy Pet Spa password protected database.
Do we share your data?
We never sell data we hold. Your information is held in the strictest confidence. Our staff are aware that confidentiality is paramount and any sharing of data is a breach of data regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure that we hold the correct details for you/your dog(s) and keep us updated of any changes to contact information or health details.
How long do we retain your data?
Information after an online purchase or any contact by email or phone will be kept for a period that we consider reasonable after the purchase/contact (please contact us to request removal).
Want to see what we hold on you?
Under the new regulations you have the right to know what information we hold on you/your dog(s). Simply contact us with your request. The data we hold for you will then be shared with you.
Do you have a complaint?
If you have a complaint about the way we are handling your information or how we have responded to a request for information or data removal, please let us know. If we find we are unable to reach an agreement, please feel free to contact the Information Commissioner.
